In loving memory ~

Beverly Noreen Klingensmith was born to Ruby and Greg Anderson on May 1, 1937 in Gibsons. She spent most of her childhood in Gibsons and had many fond stories and memories from that time.

In 1954 she was married to Lyle Klingensmith. A few years later they adopted two beautiful children - Lyle Todd and Carrie Lynn - into their young family. Noreen took great pride and joy in being a mother and would continue to treasure the time she spent with Todd and Carrie for the rest of her life.

To anyone who knew Noreen, it was clear that she loved Jehovah God very much. What many don't know, however, is how early this deep appreciation for God and His creation began. She loved to share the story about how she received her first Bible at age 7 as a reward for doing her best to behave. She treasured that first Bible deeply and committed many verses to memory. In 1965 she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. From that point on, Noreen would always be known as a stalwart servant of Jehovah and an eager sharer of Bible truth with all whom she met.

In 1993 Lyle and Noreen retired and moved to Grand Forks B.C. to pursue their love of gardening and be closer to nature. All 6 of her grandchildren - Kara, Meagan, Alden, Avery, Rylie, and Hayden - have cherished memories of spending time with Lyle and Noreen on the farm. Many benefited from their generosity in sharing fresh fruit, vegetables, and preserves.

Noreen passed away on April 9,2024 and leaves behind her two children, Lyle Todd Klingensmith and Carrie Lynn Logan, and 5 grandchildren.

The family expresses great appreciation for the community that has surrounded Noreen for the past 30 years in Grand Forks, as well as the staff at the Silver Kettle & Boundary Lodge that helped her remain comfortable and content in her last years.
